AYU Cosmetics
I can't quite believe how much our little AYU Make Up Brush business has grown over the last few months. We have gone from strength to strength since introducing our new AYU Cosmetics line! I had been thinking of bringing out a Make Up line for a while but didn't want to sell anything I wasn't 100% happy with so I spent a long time testing lots of products until I found a few that I loved and that I felt were financially accessible for everyone. First came our hugely popular AYU Concealer Palette, a 15 colour cream concealer palette that is perfect for concealing all types of blemishes and getting that celebrity contour! (We have sold out of this palette 3 times within a week of its arrival-so crazy!!) People who are not used to using these types of concealers can be a bit nervous of them so we send out a step by step "how to" with every palette sold- I like to think it helps people get the most out of what they have bought- that's the teacher in me!!
The second palette we brought out was the AYU Eyeshadow Palette. It is a 28 colour palette that suits all skin tones. I fell in love with it the minute I saw it- I use it myself day in day out and it is a firm favourite with all of my clients. It is so wearable and the pigment is excellent and long lasting- I think our price of €24 is really good value too. So far we have been getting great feedback on them so hopefully it wont be too long until we can come up with a great follow on to it too!
The third was our AYU Blusher Palette. It is a 10 colour powder blush palette that is just gorgeous! It retails for €20 which again I think is really reasonable as you could spend the same on a single blush! The pigment quality on these is outstanding and the colours can be mixed beautifully. They are powder but can be mixed with a bit of foundation or I sometimes mix them wit MAC Strobe Cream to get a nice creamy texture to add to moisturised skin for a natural look.
I love that we are getting to offer such lovely high quality products that aren't going to break the bank. Its why I am so excited about the arrival of our new order of AYU Make Up Brushes next week too. Our brushes are ranging in price from €3.50- €15.00 and I pride myself on their quality- we have 8 in the new range so far. I am still trying to find the perfect eyeliner brush so we will add that as soon as I find it! I use all of my own brushes in my make up kit- they easily rival some of the other top brands but at a fraction of the price. That was really important to me! Would you believe that I bought a foundation and eyeshadow brush from a really well known brand a few years back and I still haven't gotten over the fact that I paid €55 and €27 respectively for them- I think that was when I decided I had to bring out my own line!
